The session focused on the key trends shaping our industry—particularly the integration of AI, Smart Factory systems, and Industry 4.0 practices. In today’s world, factories must no longer operate as black boxes. Transparency in production and workflow is essential—it enables better decision-making and helps us reclaim time, our most limited resource.

I also shared how AI is here to assist, not replace. Human intuition, creativity, and critical thinking remain vital. While we embrace innovation, we must also continue to uphold the values and practices that have long sustained our industry.

The highlight of this internship was the development of a Modest Sportswear brand — a fusion of Ottoman-inspired artistry and Thai graphic design. Under the concept “Movement in Modesty,” the brand offers fashion that reflects faith, culture, and contemporary style.

During their time here, the interns gained hands-on experience in various business operations, including Purchasing, Sales, Export Documentation, BOM creation, and Quality Control Circle (QCC). They also worked with tools such as the Dozuki System, Pivot Tables, and VLOOKUP, among others.

This internship reflects VT Garment’s commitment to sharing knowledge, fostering cross-cultural collaboration, and empowering the next generation with real-world experience and a global perspective.

Traditionally, sewing has required strong craftsmanship, hand dexterity, and precision—skills that often take years of apprenticeship to master. However, template sewing represents a significant shift. By using a prepared template that requires placing fabrics precisely and in the correct order, the process reduces reliance on highly skilled operators while still delivering consistent quality and output.

This evolution shifts the critical skills to our mechanics, who now play a key role in supporting the product development team in creating templates and ensuring the machines are maintained in top condition and high availability. It’s a timely and practical solution for the current situation in the industry.

The training included both theoretical and practical components, followed by examinations. We’re proud to announce that all participants passed and are now officially certified.
