At VT Group, we believe that energy consumption efficiency is a major factor towards sustainable growth. Since 2013, the company has committed USD 300,000 to subsidise numerous projects aimed at reducing energy consumption. The projects have led to a reduction in electricity consumption and cost of 1,400,000 units and USD 160,000, respectively. Over 20% of energy consumption is from renewable energy.

Energy Efficiency
At VT Group, we believe that energy consumption efficiency is a major factor towards sustainable growth. Since 2013, the company has committed USD ~87,000 to subsidise numerous projects aimed at reducing energy consumption (see Table 1). The projects have led to a reduction in electricity consumption and cost of 503,147 units and USD~57,800, respectively.

The Award
On 19th October 2017, VT Garment Co.,Ltd. recieved the “One Hundred Hearts. Combined effort to reduce Global Warming 2017” award as part of the voluntary greenhouse gas reduction program in Thailand for the installation of solar panels. The award was given by Mr. Krieng Sima Chai, Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.
