Lean Audit at VT Garment: Embracing Continuous Improvement

At VT Garment, our recent Lean audit reaffirmed our commitment to the VT Production System (VTPS), also known as TPS, which has been continuously implemented and developed since 2008. Our partnership with Assist. Prof. Vithinut Phakphonhamin has been instrumental in this journey. As a member of the Thailand Lean Award judging committee, where we won the Golden Award in 2017, his guidance has been invaluable.
VTPS is ingrained in our DNA and is applied across all departments, not just the factory. This holistic approach fosters synchronisation and teamwork, much like a relay race where passing the baton accurately and promptly increases the chances of success.
We are committed to continuously enhancing our production system. We are evolving into a Lean Smart Factory by integrating Lean principles with Industry 4.0 practices and digitalisation. Next year, all our lines will feature an automatic hanger system, enabling transparency and real-time data capture at all workstations.
